These terms explain purchases made directly from Chaman Antique Rug Gallery through chamanrugs.com. Please contact the gallery if you need help before paying.

One-of-a-kind rugs and textiles

Our inventory consists of individual antique, vintage and handmade pieces, with a quantity of one for each listed item. Review the photographs, dimensions, materials and condition notes on the product page. Age-related wear and differences in color on different screens should be considered when choosing a piece.

Inventory is subject to prior sale. If an availability or order issue occurs, contact the gallery so we can resolve it with you. Please quote the rug’s reference and your order reference when contacting us.

Prices and payment

Website prices are in U.S. dollars. Buy Now opens secure PayPal checkout; review the selected item, delivery details and payment information there. A purchase is complete only after PayPal confirms payment. Guest debit or credit card payment may be offered by PayPal, depending on eligibility and its checkout options.

Applicable New York sales tax is currently handled separately by Chaman, outside PayPal. The website payment covers the rug price and free U.S. shipping; it does not automatically calculate New York sales tax. For a New York delivery, contact the gallery before paying to confirm the applicable tax amount and arrangements.

Free U.S. shipping and handling

U.S. shipping is free for all rugs sold directly through the website. Handling takes 3–5 business days. Estimated U.S. delivery is 5–8 business days total, including handling. These are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates.

Provide a complete, accurate U.S. delivery address at checkout. International delivery is not included in the website’s free U.S. shipping offer; contact the gallery before arranging an international purchase.

Returns and exchanges

We accept return and exchange requests within 30 days of delivery. Contact Chaman before sending a rug back. The rug must be returned in its original delivered condition.

The buyer pays insured return shipping for a standard return, and there is no restocking fee. Chaman covers return shipping for damaged or incorrect items. Refunds are issued after receipt and inspection. Read the complete return and exchange policy for instructions.

Marketplace purchases and privacy

Orders placed through 1stDibs, Chairish or another third-party service follow that service’s order and return terms. These direct-website terms do not replace those marketplace arrangements.

Our privacy policy explains website tracking, payment processing and order information. Nothing on this page limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
